Victor T. Farr

May 15, 1944 — March 20, 2020

Victor T. Farr 75 of Lewistown died Friday afternoon, March 20, 2020 at his ranch of heart failure. Our beloved husband, father and grandfather was born May 15, 1944 in Shelby the son of Albert and Victoria (Sonnemaker) Farr. He attended Cottonwood Creek School and Fergus High School graduating in 1962. He worked on the ranch on Cottonwood Creek after graduation. On June 14, 1964 he was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Beverly Devine in Lewistown. Victor and Bev ran a large herd of sheep and later ranched with their four sons while running a woodworking business, Enduring Pine Creations traveling to many trade and craft shows locally and across the country. He also worked several years as a master mechanic for heavy construction.

Victor enjoyed the outdoors. He spent many hours watching wildlife on his ranch. He also liked hunting, the sight of a sunrise and a sunset, visiting with neighbors and spending time with his family. He had many small traditions like taking the girls up to pick the springtime wildflowers or eating oyster stew on Christmas Eve. He had a love of learning and liked to teach others. He even took his turn being the principal of the Christian School the boys' attended. He looked forward to each spring. He loved babies of all kinds and could not pass up holding or petting them, it did not matter if it was a calf, piglet, chick, lamb or child.

He was a member of the Christian Missionary and Alliance Church. He loved the Lord and now he is home with him, along with his mother Victoria, brother Floyd, sister Alberta and other family and friends who have gone on to Heaven before.

He is survived by his wife Beverly of Lewistown; sons Quinton (Cindy) of Helena, MT, Shawn (Luba) of Billings, MT, Rex (Heather) and Jeremy (Amanda) both of Lewistown; one brother Phillip (Terri) in Idaho; 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He has touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
