Twyla Dawn (Ocheltree) Jackson

Twyla Dawn Ocheltree Jackson, age 71, passed away in the early morning hours of January 20, 2022. She was born on July 1, 1951, in Port Townsend, Washington and was a 1969 graduate of Port Townsend High School.



In May of 1971, she married the love of her life, Bill Jackson, of Chimacum, Washington. They moved from Washington state in 1975 to the beauty of Montana, settling in Lewistown. Together they shared a life of laughter, love and adventure. In 2021, they celebrated 50 years of marriage.



She enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting, watching Seattle Mariners baseball as well as cooking and baking for her friends and family. As much as she loved those things, nothing in her life brought her more joy than her grandkids! She loved spending time with them, and she was proud of all of their accomplishments.



Twyla is survived by her husband, William Jackson of Great Falls, Montana, sons Brian Jackson and David Jackson and daughter Dawna (Russel) Fox, granddaughters Holly (Logan) Olson, Hanna (Konnar Soft) Hayes, Jaylin Jackson, and grandson Joseph Schuler, sisters Nyola (Cres) Raines, Doralice Christiansen, Catherine Vonderfecht, Dorothy Andersen and brothers Terry (Dawn) Ocheltree, Michael (Elizabeth) Ocheltree, William Ocheltree, Alan (Marian) Ocheltree, Kevin Ocheltree and many, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.



Twyla was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Dorothy Ocheltree, sisters Rita Rene Ocheltree and Tamara Lee Bravo, nephew David Lloyd Luttinen and niece Melissa Dawn Ocheltree.



A memorial service will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers or other remembrances, the family asks that donations be made in Twyla’s name to the charity of your choice.



Twyla will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
