Susanna ‘Susie’ Wollman was born to Darius and Rebecca Hofer on August 15th, 1939, in Coaldale, Alberta, Canada (Lakeside Colony). She grew up near Walsh, Alberta, and later moved to Lumsden, Saskatchewan (Arm River Colony). She married Michael Wollman in Lewistown, Montana, on December 1st, 1968, and eventually settled at Flatwillow, near Roundup, MT, building a legacy with six children. With the sounds of children playing and birds chirping over a warm breeze, Mom passed away peacefully on April 18th, 2026, surrounded by her family. Mom was a quiet, gentle lady; a keeper of her home and family; an excellent seamstress, cook, and baker. Momma loved Jesus, reading her Bible, a good cup of coffee, ice cream, thrift stores, shoes, purses, and candy. In her home, no one was a stranger. Everyone who came was welcomed with open arms, coffee, and whatever delicacy she had just finished baking, such as rhubarb custard pie. Most of all, Mom loved being surrounded by family and loved ones.
Surviving Susie are her 6 children: daughter Helen (Brad) Stahl, grandchildren Zane (Ashley), great-grandson Bradley, and Tia Stahl; daughter Miriam (Reuben) Stahl, grandchildren Muriah (Stanley) Liu, great-grandchildren Marley and Olivia; Sonya (Dillon) Scheetz, great-grandchildren Addison and Beau; and Caleb Stahl; son Mick (Debbie) Wollman, grandchildren Whitney (Nick) Breipohl, great-grandson Nash; Roman (Tylee) Wollman, great-grandsons Reid, Finn, Sawyer, and Mason; and Cameron (Kate) Wollman; daughter Junia Wollman; daughter Tammy (Sam) Huseby, grandsons Wyatt and Hunter; daughter Marlene (Lester) Martin, grandchildren Austin, Sierra, and Summer; brothers Dan (Katie), Joe (Kate), Sam (Annie) Hofer, and sister Katie (Peter) Hofer; sister-in-law Susie Hofer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wollman; grandchildren Destiny, Sierra, and Kenyon Stahl; and son-in-law Brad Stahl, as well as numerous loved ones gone before. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7.
Funeral services will be held at Mercy Baptist Church in Roundup, MT, on April 21 at 11:00 am, followed by a burial and luncheon at Flatwillow Ranch. The funeral will be live-streamed.
