Ross Clifton Roe

Ross C. “Okie” Roe, Jr. 67 of Grass Range died at his home in Grass Range on August 9th, 2022. He was born August 9, 1955 in Checotah, OK the son of Ross C. and M. Opal (Shandy) Roe, Sr. He received his education in Porum, OK graduation from High School in 1973. He then entered the United States Army serving 2 years until December of 1975. On June 18, 1976 he was united in marriage to Roxann Wilson in Montana. He returned to worked construction in Montana and returned to Oklahoma for a short time before returning to Montana settling in Grass Range to work and raise their family. He worked for several construction companies including Wickens Construction and M K Weeden Construction. He retired in 2000 due to an injury he received. His wife preceded him in death in 2016. He continued living in Grass Range until the time of his death.



He enjoyed hunting and fishing and time with family.



He is survived by three sons Cody (Samantha) of Towanda, PA, Monte of Fairview, MT and Robert (Leahann) of Glendale, AZ; two sisters Meldora Roe in Oklahoma and Janice Ogren in Wisconsin; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren with twins due in February and several nieces and nephews.



In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.



A Celebration of Life for “Okie” Roe will be Friday, August 19th at the Wrangler in Grass Range. Cremation has taken place at his request with the Cloyd Funeral Home assisting the family.



Friends are asked to make memorials the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans Memorial Park or the charity of their choice and they may be left with the Cloyd Funeral Home. Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.cloydfuneralhome.com.
