Patricia A. Stolle

March 27, 1931 — November 26, 2020

Patricia Ann (Schultz) Stolle 89 of Rapid City, SD and formerly of Lewistown died early Sunday morning, December 13th, 2020 at Monument Healthcare in Rapid City, SD after a fairly short decline of congestive heart failure.  She was born March 27, 1931 near Grass Range, MT to Theodore R and Ethel (Degner) Schultz. She grew up on her dad's ranch outside of Grass Range and attended schools at a country school and in Grass Range where she graduated valedictorian of her class. She loved basketball and all the sports girls were allowed to participate in. She married Frank Stolle September 17, 1949 in Lewistown surrounded by huge crowd of family and friends. They made their home on the Schultz ranch and later in Lewistown where three children were born. While Frank was a mechanic and the projectionist at the Judith Theater Pat was a housewife and mother to her growing family. Pat became a Christian and led her family to First Christian Church where they all became members and Pat and the others became very active. While her kids were in college Pat worked as a physical therapist aide at Valley Vista Nursing Home. Frank took a job at the State Highway and that led to them moving to Glendive where Frank was the Shop Foreman and then rose up the ranks. Pat continued working for a nursing home in Glendive. Frank came down with multiple sclerosis and eventually had to take a medical retirement and they moved to Rapid City where they lived out their lives. In Rapid City they began an extensive rental property business, F & P Rentals that continues to this day. Frank passed away November 2, 2011 and Pat continued to run the rental business. Pat enjoyed her growing family, her church in Rapid, a good many dear friends, and her flock of renters.

She is survived by a son Steven (Jo); daughter Carol (Gene) Mueller both of Lincoln, Nebraska; one sister Mary Lee Kaufmann of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; the best nieces and nephews, both Knuths, Kaufmanns, and Hagemeyers.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son Jerry and one brother Earl Hagemeyer.
