Mack L. Goodwin 85 died Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the Caslen Living Center of natural causes. He was born August 26, 1931 Norman, OK the son of Marques L. and Meda (Hill) Goodwin. He received his education in Riverton Wyoming where he graduated high school in 1949. He then started working for GSI Oil Company in 1953. On June 20, 1953, he was united in marriage to Elvera D. Norgaard in Riverton, WY. He worked and they lived all over the western half of the United States. Until they moved the family to South America and he worked for in the Amazon Jungle drilling for Oil. They made their last move in 1968 when they moved to Lewistown, Montana and purchased
The Trails End Motel. In 1969, he began working for Cenex driving the gas and fertilizer truck until his retirement.

As most Montanans' he loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed many trips to Alaska and Oregon to fish for steelhead and salmon. He umpired baseball and softball and in his spare time he would refinish furniture in his shop and he played in the senior pool league.

He is survived by his four children Mitchel Barnes in California, Mack Goodwin, Jr. in Oregon, JoMeda Goodwin of Lewistown and Paul Goodwin in Colorado; one sister Peggy Lynn Evans in California; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Vera in 1994 and his parents.

Memorial Services for Mack L. Goodwin will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cloyd Chapel with committal to follow in Central Montana Memorial Gardens. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
