Larry L. Wrobetz 71 of Kolin died Friday morning at his home of natural causes. He was born March 27, 1947 in Lewistown the son of Lawrence and Irene (English) Wrobetz. He received his schooling in the Indian Creek School near Kolin and then the family moved into Denton where he attended school graduating from Denton High School in 1965. He then entered the United States Navy for a short time returning to Montana and attending Helena Vo-Tech for two (2) years. He then returned to the ranch at Kolin and worked with his father. In the late 1980's he took over operation of the ranch. On December 3, 2009 he was united in marriage to Janet Barr in Stanford, MT. They continue to live and operate the ranch until the time of his death.
Larry was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Eagles Lodge of Lewistown and the Kolin Trap Club.
Larry loved hunting, especially Elk hunting, building harnesses and driving his team of horses and flying his Piper Cub airplane.
He is survived by his wife Janet of the family home; sons Shane of Bozeman, MT and Fred of Billings, MT; brothers Clifford of Belgrade, MT and Donald; sister Barbara Tornow of Wentworth, SD; two grandchildren Jadin and Jarek and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside Services for Larry L. Wrobetz will be Wednesday, May 30th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Central Montana Memorial Gardens. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
