Kenneth D. Bowser

March 14, 1951 — June 9, 2019

Kenneth D. Bowser 68 of Lewistown died early Sunday morning, June 9th, 2019 in the Central Montana Medical Center of natural causes. He was born March 14, 1951 in Lewistown the son of James and Lavinnie Bowser. He received his schooling in Lewistown graduating from Fergus High School in 1970. He was united in marriage to Leslie Tindall in Lewistown in the summer of 1970 and in October he entered the U.S. Army serving in Germany. Following his honorable discharge in 1973 he returned to Lewistown. They made their home in Lewistown and began working as a truck driver for Francis Tindall Construction. Ken and Leslie later divorced. Francis Tindall Construction became Konitz Construction in 1980 when Ken became the crusher superintendent, he held this job until his retirement in 2005. In his retirement he worked part-time as a driver for Courtesy Motors in Lewistown.

Ken enjoyed hunting when he was younger, family trips to the Boulder River south of Big Timber and his coffee club. He was a member of the Eagle Lodge of Lewistown.

He is survived by his daughter Nicole (Tom) Williamson of Crestwood, KY; three brothers Larry and Richard both of Lewistown, MT and Jerry of Richland, WA; one sister Rhea Hughes of Grass Range, MT; 2 grandchildren Zachary and Joshua and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services for Kenneth Bowser will be Friday, July 19th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Mount Calvary Cemetery with a Celebration of Life & luncheon to follow in Frank Day (City) Park. Cremation has taken place with committal to be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Friends are asked to make memorials to the Veterans Memorial Park in Lewistown or the charity of their choice and they may be left with the Cloyd Funeral Home. Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.cloydfuneralhome.com.
