John G. Hall

John Gerald Hall --2/25/39 -1/2/22



John was a man with many facets and dimensions; husband, father, grandfather, veteran, mentor, friend, leader, and hell-raiser. He lived and loved life to the fullest, then departed this place on his own terms - peacefully in his sleep, a mischievous grin on his face and his hand curled as if holding a beer.  John's loves and passions included hunting, photography, cooking, tinkering, storytelling and anything to do with guns.  His true gift was in being able to connect with people and help out whenever and wherever he could.



John was preceded in death by Carol, the one true love of his life for 48 years.  He leaves behind his two adult children, a handful of grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and hundreds of cherished friends.



There will be a Celebration of Life in John's honor in late February in Winifred, MT.  Please, NO Flowers.  John asked for any tributes to be made in his honor to Brain Tumor Research (www.braintumor.org) or the Winifred Montana Fire and Emergency Services.



We raise a glass in honor of John, and with the fondest memories lift him up.  "If you want to get to heaven, you got to raise a little hell."  Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
