John C. Bliler

John Charles Bliler 60, of Lewistown died of natural causes Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 at his home. He was born July 28th, 1956 to Charles and Betty Lou (Johnson) Bliler in Anchorage Alaska. His parents moved to Livingston, Montana when John was two years old. He went to school at Park High was involved in many activities, graduating in 1975. Following graduation, John worked at the Brand S Lumber Company for a few years. He loved to float the Yellowstone River all the years he lived in Livingston. He ventured to Wyoming in the early 80's to work on the Oil Riggs. In the mid 80's, John moved back to Livingston to be closer to his parents and pursue a career in Construction. He worked for House Construction for many years. He was a master craftsman and took pride in his finish work. In 2007 John moved to Lewistown to be close to his mother Betty and sister Michelle Hecht and her family. He enjoyed hunting on his brother in laws ranch at Salt Creek near Winifred, Montana. He especially loved bird hunting. John worked at HRDC in Lewistown and also worked for a short time at the deli at Albertsons, last working at Lewistown Rental. He loved working there, but was forced to quit due to a debilitating ankle injury.

He was a comfort to his mother in her later years. He was at his happiest in his boat fishing the many waterways in Montana.

John is survived by his sister Michelle (Don) Hecht of Lewistown, MT; brother Bill Bliler of Great Falls, MT; niece Courtney (Andrew) Stewart of Colorado Springs, CO; niece Morgan Hecht of Los Angeles, CA; nephew Banner Hecht and niece Sunni Hecht both of Lewistown MT; nephew Doug Bliler of Billings MT; great nephew Jeremy; nephew Benjamin of Hawaii and great niece -------and niece Abigail of Missoula, MT.

John was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Charles Bliler.

Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial is being planned at a later date. Cloyd funeral home is assisting the family.
