Jeffrey “Herbie” Huck, 61, of Moore passed away late Sunday, July 26th, 2026 at home due to complications from a heart attack and open-heart surgery.
Jeff was born (July 15th, 1965) and raised in Lewistown, Montana. He attended Lewistown Public Schools and graduated from the amazing Class of 1983.
He worked various jobs like construction, firefighting, custom harvesting but trucking became his true passion. For him, the open roads are where he found his solitude. He found his work family at Casino Creek Concrete in 2006 and always looked forward to jumping into his truck and hitting the road.
Jeff married his soul mate, Tracy Reppe, on September 9th, 2000, and together they raised two sons. His family was his everything and they always came first in his life.
Jeff wore many hats throughout his life; husband, father, brother, uncle, son, friend, and boss but the hat he treasured the most was Papa! His granddaughter was his world, and he was so excited to watch her grow.
Those of us who were fortunate to know Jeff knew how infectious his enthusiasm was. He was always ready for fun and was sometimes accused of being a "bad influence" on those around him. Every day spent with Jeff was an adventure
Jeff is survived by his wife Tracy; sons Brandin Huck and Devin (Kelcey) Reppe; granddaughter Alzada Reppe; and brother Clint Huck of Harlowton; father-in-law Ron Reppe of Lewistown; brother-in-law Ted Reppe of Lewistown and sister-in-law Tammy (Shawn) Grindheim of Roy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by mom LouAnn Huck; son Jonathin; grandson Jacob Thomas Reppe; and mother-in-law Ruth Reppe.
Services and Celebration of Life will be held at the Oxen Yoke in Utica on Saturday, August 8th at 1:00 p.m. Friends and family are asked to bring a dessert and chairs. Memorial donations can be made to a college fund for granddaughter, Alzada or to the Sapphire Village Volunteer Fire Dept.
The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be shared online at www.cloydfuneralhome.com.
