Eulah Mae Stout, 89, of Stanford, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls of natural causes. She was born on December 5, 1935, in Great Falls, the daughter of Fritz and Henrietta (Zyp) Johnson. The family moved to Stanford where she received her education graduating from Stanford High School in 1953. She then worked at Basin State Bank in Stanford until her marriage to Keith Stout on September 12, 1954 in Stanford. They lived at Arrow Creek to work with his parents on the farm and then to Coffee Creek in 1957 where he worked for the GTA Elevator. In 1976 they moved to the ranch at Stanford where they made their home until his death in 1991. Eulah moved into Stanford in 1993 where she made her home until the time of her death.
Eulah enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, sewing, diamond arts, camping, drawing, having dogs around, buying Christmas ornaments for her great-grandchildren and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991, her parents, granddaughter and grandson-in-law Kim (Ty) Bockness, half-brother Roy Jonnson, sister Peggy and husband Carl Backe, sister-in-law Kathryn and husband Duke Frueh, brothers-in-law Dean and wife Darlene Stout and Don and wife Lois Stout, in-laws Virgil and Leona Stout.
She is survived by children Charlene (Dennis) Cook of Big Timber, MT, Marilyn (Everett) Snow of Stanford, MT, LeAnna (Rodney) Gloyne of Lewistown, MT and Dale (Maria) Stout of Helena, MT; grandchildren Jennifer (Kevin) Edwards, Keith Cook, Brandie (Delroy) Boese, Maria (Loren) Snow, Rachel (Devin) Anoq-Sharp, Daniel Gloyne, Lacey (Tyler) Gloyne, Adrian (Nicole) Stout, Norena (Charles) Buck, James Mason, Amber (Michael) Miller, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Eula M. Stout will be Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 10:00 am in the Cloyd Chapel with committal to follow in the Stanford Cemetery. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
