Deryl Faye Armfield

Deryl Faye "Mickee" Armfield, 93, of Lewistown, passed away on September 21, 2023 at her residence in Lewistown, MT.

Born in Roy, Montana, on August 30, 1930, daughter of Tony & Lucille (Purdy) LaFontaine

She attended 1st & 2nd grade at the Roy School. She finished her education at Lewistown schools, graduating from Fergus High School. Mickee attended Montana Northern College in Havre, MT.

Mickee was united in marriage to Guy H. (Bud) Kelly in 1950 at Methodist Chapel in Billings, MT. To this marriage, was born three daughters Terri, Lorrie & Connie. The marriage ended in divorce in 1962.

Mickee was united in marriage to Larry Armfield in 1972 in Yuma, Arizonia. Mickee was a cook for many years at ranches & saw mills in the Lewistown area. She was also a cook in the oil fields in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and Michigan. She also ran a Board & Breakfast for several construction companies, who were laying and replacing oil & water pipelines in several different states.

Shortly before Mickee's passing, she was a volunteer at Treasure Depot, where she loved to work and was able to meet up with old friends and make many new friends.

She is survived by her grandsons Conwell Gene Long of Great Falls & children Cody & Kimberly of Lewistown, Jeremy J. Long (Rhonda) & daughters Shelby & Ruthie of Lewistown, MT, son-in-law Sam Cochran of Yucca Valley, CA

She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Armfield, daughters Terri L. Long, Lorrie G. Cochran, and Connie L. Lillie, twin sons Timmy & Tommy Armfield who both passed away at birth, grandson Casy Guy Latham, brothers Larry R. LaFontaine & Bill LaFontaine, Jaynee Fairbairn

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Fergus County Council on Aging 307 West Watson Street, Lewistown.

Memorial contributions can be made in Mickee's name to the Fergus County Council on Aging, 307 West Watson Street, Lewistown, MT 59457.
