Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandpa.



Benjamin “Ben” M Stahl, 89, passed away peacefully at home into the arms of his Lord and Savior on January 27th, 2022, with his beloved wife and family by his side. Ben was born on January 15th, 1933 in Huron, SD. In 1944 he moved to Grass Range, MT. He married the love of his life, Katie Stahl on June 4th, 1967. They were married for 54 years, from this union they had four children Benny, Sharon, Sally and Judyann.



He was a kind, gentle man with a passion for trapping and hunting, teaching his son and grandchildren to enjoy it as much as he did. Dad was also a die-hard Dodgers fan and was able to see them play in person, it was a dream come true for him. He had the colony garden for 25 years and was the Sunday School teacher. He loved his grandchildren very much. Dad will always be greatly missed by your family and friends. We will never forget you, you are loved forever, safe in the arms of Jesus.



Ben is survived by his wife of 54 years, Katie; children Benny (Jessie) Stahl of Ayers Colony, Sharon (Ben) Walter of Lewistown, Sally (Dave) Walter of Lewistown and Judyann (Willy) Walter of Lewistown; sister Katie Hofer; grandchildren Keithon (Janelle) Walter, Tyrell Walter, Logan (Grace) Stahl, Colleen Stahl, Aaron Stahl, Amanda Walter, Nicole (Rylan) Hofer, Tucker Walter, Blaine Walter and Amy Walter; 2 great grandchildren.



Ben is preceded in death by brothers Joe Stahl and Paul Stahl; sisters Susanna Hofer, Justina Wollman, and Martha Stahl; granddaughter Marissa Walter.



Funeral services for Benjamin M Stahl will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 30th, 2022 at the Ayers Colony in Grass Range, MT. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.cloydfuneralhome.com.
