Michelle Lynn Hecht (nee Bliler) 61 of Lewistown died on Saturday evening, October 24, 2020 at her home of natural causes. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Michelle was born on September 24, 1959 to Charles and Betty (Johnson) Bliler in Livingston, Montana. She spent her childhood in Livingston, graduating from Park High School in 1977.

After high school, she spent two years in Phoenix, Arizona, where she attended fashion design school. She later returned to Montana to attend Montana State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education with an endorsement in library. At Montana State University, she was actively involved in the Chi Omega sorority.

Following college, she taught first grade in Hobson, Montana. During this time, she met and married Dr. Donald Hecht, a chiropractor who lived in Lewistown, Montana. They married on December 22, 1984 and raised a family of four children in Lewistown.

She was an active member of the community of Lewistown. Her public service included membership on the Art Center Board, involvement at Zion Lutheran Church, and parental leadership in Silver Spurs 4-H club.

She adored her children, grandchild, and pets.

She is survived by her husband Don of Lewistown, her children Courtney (Andrew) Stewart of Fort Collins, CO, Morgan Hecht of Denver, CO, Sunni and Banner Hecht both of Lewistown, MT; her grandson Cormac and her brother William of Great Falls, MT.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Betty and her brother John.

Cremation has taken place and committal is in the Lewistown City Cemetery and a private service will be held due to COVID-19. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Donations to support her memory can be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital and Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA), or to the charity of their choice and they may be left with the Cloyd Funeral Home.
