Blondena B. Klansnic



Graveside Services for Blondena Klansnic will be Friday, July 23, 2010 in Wenatchee, WA.  Cloyd Funeral Home of Lewistown and Telford’s Chapel of the Valley of East Wenatchee are assisting the family.

Blondena Klansnic, 89 of Denton, MT and formerly of Wenatchee, WA died at her home with her family on Saturday, July 17, 2010 near Denton, MT.  She was born December 3, 1920 in Harrison County, Missouri the daughter of Fleet and Leta P. (McWade) Blackburn.  They moved to Wenatchee in 1923 when she was 3 years old.  She received her schooling in Wenatchee and attended Business School near Seattle.  During the war she drove a bus for the shipyards in Bremerton, WA.  On August 4, 1948 she was united in marriage to Vincent J. Klansnic in Everett, WA and they made their home in Wenatchee.  She worked as a bookkeeper most of her life retiring from Chamberlain Distributing.  They continued to live in Wenatchee until his death in 1996.  She continued to live in Wenatchee until coming to live with her daughter earlier this year.

She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends and was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.

She was survived by one son, Dean (Debby) Klansnic of White Sands, NM and one daughter, Capree (Doug) Hanson of Denton, MT; three grandchildren, Shaun (Adriana) Klansnic, Rand (Kelsey) Hanson and James Hanson; three great grandchildren, Evan and Aiden Klansnic, Harper Hanson and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one half-sister, Eulah Brassfield.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make memorials to the charity of their choice.
