Linda L. Scally

Memorial services for Linda Lou Scally will be Friday, October 19th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cloyd Chapel.  Cremation has taken place.  Cloyd Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.

Linda Lou (Sennett) Scally, 59 of Lewistown, passed away October 11th, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings of natural causes. She was born September 21, 1953 in Lewistown, MT to James F. and Mary Lou (Bastian) Sennett. Shortly after she was born, the family moved to Wyoming where her father was employed in the oil fields. The family eventually moved back to Lewistown where Linda received her schooling.

On August 26, 1971, her son Mike was born in Lewistown. Later in 1971 she was united in marriage to Harry Waggoner, they divorced a few years later. On September 2, 1977 she was united in marriage to Mark W. Scally at the court house in Lewistown. On February 7, 1980, her daughter Crystal was born in Lewistown. In 2011, Mark & Linda were divorced.

Linda held several jobs throughout her life in Lewistown. For many years she was a CNA, working at both Valle Vista Manor & the Central Montana Nursing Home. She thoroughly enjoyed these jobs & the many wonderful friends she met along the way. For the last 19 years, she was employed at the Central Montana Council on Aging as a bus driver. Her fellow employees became like a second family to her. She loved working with children & especially the elderly. Her biggest passion in life  were her children. She loved them with all her heart & was so proud of the people that they had become. She also loved her “adopted” children, Cassi Koch, Anna Dengal, Jennie Martin, & Echo Fassbender like they were her own daughters. Her next biggest passion was animals, anywhere there was an animal in need, she was sure to be found. She also enjoyed cross-stitching & crocheting blankets for any occasion that arose. She also loved to go camping & spent many summers dividing her time between Crystal Lake & the trailer at Canyon Ferry.

She is survived by her son, Mike Scally of Glendive MT, her daughter, Crystal Scally of Lewistown MT, aunt & uncle, Marlene & Don Bastian of Bozeman MT, aunt & uncle, Muriel & Clint Sennett of Lewistown, & several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Uncle, Bob Sennett, cousin, Jack Bastian, & her grandparents.

Friends are asked to make memorials to the Council On Aging, Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Breast Cancer Foundation, or the charity of their choice and may be left at the Cloyd Funeral Home.

Mike and Crystal:
I'm sor sorry to hear about your Mom. I remember so many good times we spent together, we go back a long ole way. Hold onto your memories and she will never be far away from your heart. Just think now you have your own true gaudian angel to watch over you. And you better believe she is. Take care and I am always at the other end of the phone.
